First I have to stop by the drugstore and get some ointment.
その次に郵便局へ寄って，この手紙を書留で出しておこう。
Then to the post office to send this letter by registered mail.
そのあと、書店に寄ろう。
After that, to the book store.
急ぐことはない。時間は十分にある。
No need to hurry. I've got plenty of time.
ついでに東西デパートヘ入ってみよう。
I think I'll stop by the Tozai Department Store.
文房具売場は，どこかな？
I wonder where the stationery department is?
シャープペンのシンと赤のボールペン１本とプラスチック消しゴムがほしいんだ。
I want some sharp pen refills, a red ball pen and a plastic eraser.
青インクも必要だな。
I need some blue ink, too.
ほかに必要なものはなかったかな？
Was there anything else I needed?
ほかに用事がなければ帰ることにするか。
I don't have any other errands, so I guess I'll go home.
歩いて帰るか，それともバスに乗るかな。
I wonder whether to walk or take the bus.
バスはすぐに来そうにないや。
Hmm. It looks like a long wait.
じゃ，家まで歩こう。
I'll walk.
歩くのは運動になっていいんだ。
Walking is good exercise.

I think I'll clean up the top of my desk a bit

I have to take out the garbage.

I guess I'll do the laundry.
きょうは天気がいいから，洗濯物がよく乾くぞ。
The clothes should dry well because the weather's nice today.
きょうは雨だから，洗濯物は当分乾きそうにないなあ。
It's going to take a while for the clothes to dry because of the rain.
さあ，食事の支度をしよう。
Now to get supper ready.

We're out of sauce. I have to go buy some more.

This is enough to wash myself with.

That was really refreshing.

I'm so tired of these shows that sell nothing but sex and violence.
こんな番組を見るより寝たほうがましだ。
I'd rather go to sleep than watch programs like this.
