真理を述べている創世記
創造の物語に目を移して宇宙の構造を調べてみましょう。
Let us turn to the story of Creation for conformation.
創世記の第一章を注意深く読んでみますと、創造には形がなく、
Careful reading of the first chapter of Genesis (or the first creation), tells us that creation was without form;
それは最初に神の心の中で創られた想念にすぎなかったと述べてあります。
meaning it was then only a thought forming in Divine Mind.
この章においてはあらゆることが慎重に計画されていることがわかります。
In this chapter we find every detail scrupulously planned: the grasses, herbs, and trees yielding fruit;
青草と実を結ぶ樹木、生命をもつ生き物を多く生み出す海と飛ぶ鳥、
the waters bringing forth abundantly the moving creatures that hath life, and the fowl that may fly;
その種に従った生き物、家畜、その種に従った地上の昆虫と獣──。
the living creatures after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing and beasts of the earth after his kind... .
それから神は「われらにかたどって、われらの形のごとくに人間を創ることにしよう」と言っています。
Then God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness.
創世紀の第二章では、霧が地からたちのぼって土地のおもてをあまねく潤し、種子を生長させるようにしたり、
In the second chapter of Genesis (or the second creation), we are told how the mists went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground, causing the seeds to grow;
土でもって神が野のすべての獣と空のすべての鳥を創ったり、土のチリでもって人間を創り、生命の息をその鼻孔に吹き入れて、
how out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every fowl of the air, and how the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
人間が生ける魂になった様子が述べてあります。
and man became a living soul.
したがって創造主は、すでに形づくられていて「善し」と宣言した原型に従って、形のない空間から天と地とあらゆる生命とを現象化させたのです。
So the Creator, following the patterns that had been formed and pronounced "good," from formless void, brought into manifestation, heaven and earth and all life thereon.
この創造の物語は、私たちがこれまで信じていたのとちがって、この小さな地球にかぎるのではなく、全宇宙に渡るものです。
This story of creation is not confined to our small planet, as we have been led to believe, but encompasses the entire Cosmos.
天空（エーテル）からさまざまの密度の状態を通じて無機物に至るまで、万物は最初想念なのであって、つづいて結果を（結果を）創り出すために物質（原子）の組成が行なわれました。
All creation, from the firmament or sky (ether), through the varying states of density to minerals, was first a thought followed by the forming of matter (atoms) to produce the effect.
この意味における物質とは触知し得る現象にかぎるものではなく、創造の母性原理におよぶものです。
Matter in this sense is not restricted to tangible manifestation, but refers to the Mother principle in creation.
父性原理すなわち創造主と、力すなわち物質からなる母性原理から、息子すなわち万物が生まれたのです。
From the Father principle, or Creator, and the Mother principle composed of force, or matter, comes the Son, or all manifestation.
