はじめに
FORWARD

テレパシーはあらゆる生きものに本来そなわっている自然の能力であって、これにより自分のフィーリング（心で感じていること）を他のすべての生きものに伝えることができます。
Telepathy is the natural ability inherent within all forms of life to communicate their feelings to all other forms.

自然界はまちがいなくこの法則に従っており、一つの統一された全体として現象界を実現させるために、万物は自分自身を惜しみなく与えています。
Natural responds unquestioningly to this law, and each element gives freely of itself to bring forth as a united whole, the fruition of manifestation.

人間とは活動する想念体です。
Man is a thought in action.

しかし理解力の乏しさから、さまざまのゆがみをひき起こし、そのために現在いたる所に見られるような大混乱が生ずるようになりました。
However, through his limited understanding he has caused the distortions which have resulted in the chaos he finds around him today.

人間は働くための道具をいろいろ持っていますが、
Man has the tools with which to work;

無我の自己表現というもっと大きな分野で人間に奉仕する力を持つという自覚は失ってしまいました。
but he has lost his awareness of their ability to serve him in the greater field of selfless, self-expression.

人間が自分の想念を低次な段階から高次な表現に発達させ拡張する能力は、円、三角形、四角形の紙がおさめてある万華鏡にたとえてよいでしょう。
His capacity to progress and expand his thoughts from the coarser to the finer expressions, could be likened to a kaleidoscope containing a sphere, a triangle, and a square.

回転するごとに新しい摸様が展開します。同じ模様は二度と現れません。
Each turn of the kaleidoscope produces a new pattern ... no two alike.

人間も大宇宙と一体であるという自覚を広げるならば、万華鏡の場合と同じ変化の法則が、たえず変転し成長してやまない模様を描き出して、充実した生命を人間に与えるでしょう。
When man expands his awareness to a oneness with the Cosmos, the same law of diversity, in an ever-changing, growing pattern, will give him the fullness of life.

この目的を達成するには、肉体の触感は神経の反応にすぎないけれども、心で起こすフィーリング（感じ）は警戒しようとする状態であるということを理解する必要があります。
To attain this goal, he must understand that touch is a nerve reaction; while feeling is a state of alertness.

真の警戒の状態とは意識的意識（自分の心を大宇宙の意識と一体化させた状態にして、外界から来る波動を感知しようとすること）であって、これこそすべてを包含する”宇宙的な知識”です。
The state of true alertness is conscious consciousness ... which is all-inclusive Cosmic Knowledge.
