宇宙にはさまざまな段階の惑星がある

地球は宇宙のこのような教室の一つです。
Earth is one such class room in the Cosmos.

それは聖なる場所であって、私たちが”永遠の生命の階段”を一段一段登ることができるように、理解力を向上させる機会がこの場所で与えられているのです。
It is a holy place, where we are given the opportunity to grow in understanding that we may climb to another rung on the endless Ladder of life.

自分自身の努力によって私たちがより高い段に足をのせるとき、その高さで学ばねばならないレッスンを終了するために、私たちはひとまずそこヘとどまらねばなりません。
When, through our own efforts, we place our feet upon a higher rung, we must then pause to assimilate the lessons to be learned at that level.

しかし、私たちがすでに通過したはるか下方の発達段階を無数の他の惑星の住人があえぎながら登っているのです（訳注＝この太陽系の惑星を意味しない）。
But climbing far below us, struggling through the phases of development we have already mastered, are the dwellers of countless other planets.

私たちの太陽系の各惑星からやってきて私と会った隣人たちは地球人よりもはるかに進化しています。
True, the space people I have met from our system are more advanced than we on earth.

だからこそ彼らは現在の地球上の闘争についてあのような同情に満ちた理解力をもっているのです。
That is why they have such compassionate understanding of our present struggles;

というのは、現在地球人が直面しているのと同じような問題に彼らもかつて直面したことがあり、そしてそれを克服したからです。
for they once met and conquered the same problems which face us today.

彼らにわかっているのは、彼らがいま立っている階段にいずれは地球人も足をのせるときがあるということです。一方そのときに彼らはさらに高く登るでしょう。
They know we will eventually place our feet upon the rung where they now stand, while they in turn, will climb even higher.

そこで、宇宙で私たちをとりまいているのは、地球以下の未発達な惑星群や、地球人の理解の範囲をうんと超えた惑星群であるということがわかります。
So we can see that surrounding us in space are planets below us in development, and others far beyond the scope of our understanding.

この両方の惑星鮮から放たれた波動は宇宙の混合と融合を通じて、たえずその型を変化させながらこの世界に影響をおよぼしているのです。
Impregnated vibrations from both lower and higher planets, through the blending and interblending of the Cosmos, influence our world in an ever-changing pattern.
