想念は化学作用で発生する
物質の原子を存在させ活動させているのはこの宇宙力です。
It is this force that brings into existence, and activates, the atoms of form.
しかしこの意味における物質は目に見える現象だけにかぎりません。
But form in this sense is not confined to visible manifestation alone;
硬い物質を創りあげているのと同じ原子が、また空間の諸元素を創りあげているからです。
for the same atoms which make up solid substance, also make up the elements of space.
人間の現在の知識では、およそ一〇〇いくつの元素があり、
To our present knowledge, there are some hundred odd elements;
それらから無数の化合物や合成物が創造されています。
out of which innumerable compounds and compositions are created.
人間はまさに”英知”によって創り出され、”力”によって永続せしめられている化学的な宇宙ともいうべき世界に生きているのです。
We are living in what could rightly be called a chemical universe; conceived out of Intelligence, and perpetuated by Force.
私たちが周囲に見る万物は化学的な作用と反作用の結果です。
Each manifestation we see about us is the effect of chemical action and reaction.
光、熱、音響、成長と崩壊は、すべて化学作用によるものです。
Light, heat, sound, growth and disintegration, are all chemical actions.

We do not know what causes certain attracting and repelling actions.

We must simply accept the fact that such a law exists, and that it does command the combination of chemicals to create a form of energy.

This same law applies to silent thoughts, for they, too, have a definite vibratory rate which registers upon the sensitive plate of space.

Thought is not sent out in one straight line as a bullet travels from the barrel of a gun.

It goes out in billions of straight lines in all directions.

We may imagine a thought as a spark of light, with radiations extending as an equal force in all directions;

そして光と同様に、想念の振動も一度作り出されると、この持殊なエネルギーの放射練を吸収したり散らしたりできる何かの物体で阻止されないかぎり、無限に進行するのです。
And like light, a thought vibration once created, will extend indefinitely unless intercepted by some object capable of absorbing and dissipating that particular ray of energy.
