真の透視能力とは何か

真の透視は、精神集中の状態を起こさないで真実の”自我”の注意力を対象物にむけて肉体のセンスマインドがあらゆる波動にたいして開放的で感受的な状態になるようにそのセンスマインドをゆったりとさせる能力にすぎません。
True clairvoyance is merely the ability to direct the attention of the real Self without producing a state of concentration, and to relax the sense-mind of the body to the point where it is open and sensitive to all impressions.

何かの個人的な感情に注意がむけられると、入ってくる波動を自動的に妨害することになります。
The recognition of any particular personal feeling will automatically interfere with the incoming vibration.

ある特定な波動と接触する瞬間に、もし受信者が非個人的な態度で自分の関心をそれにじっとむけるならば、その波動に属するあらゆる知識が自然に鮮明に浮かびあがってきます。
If, at the moment of contact with a specific impression, the recipient allows his interest to dwell upon it impersonally, all knowledge pertaining to that impression will reveal itself;

真実なるものはたがいに関係があり、分離されることはないからです。
because the facts are related and cannot be separated.

ここでふたたび、万物を生み出す親和の法則をとりあげることにしましょう。
Here, again, we are dealing with the law of affinity, which brings all things to fruition.

異なる物体のそれぞれに成長と個別化を促進する化学元素を引きよせるのはこの法則です。
It is this law that impels each different form to draw to itself those chemical elements which will promote its growth and individuality;

また、私たちが理解しているいかなる分野でも明確な分析を可能ならしめ、すべての現象面の活動を安定させるのもこの法則です。
it is this law that stabilizes activity in all planes of manifestation making a definite analysis possible in any field where we have understanding.

そして、テレパシー、透視、透聴、その他これらに類似した異常な能力を理解できるのは宇宙の諸法則が不変であるからにほかなりません。
And it is only because the laws of the Cosmos are immutable that telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience, and kindred phases of development can be understood.

いわゆる予言による知識はテレパシーによる推論以外の何ものでもありませんが、
For all so-called prophetic knowledge is nothing more than telepathic deduction.

しかし想念波動はひじょうな高速で進行するので完全な感受は同時に行なわれるという事実のため、受信者または想念伝達の研究家によって予言がテレパシーだと認められることはほとんどないのです。
However, due to the fact that thought vibrations travel at such high speed that complete reception is instantaneous, it is rarely recognized as telepathy by the recipient, or by the researchers in the field of thought-transference.

たとえば、自然界で発生する化学変化を注意していた人々によって、洪水または地震による部市の破壊が予言された例がこれまでにあるにはありました。
For instance, there may have been many cases in which the destruction of a city by flood or earthquake has been predicted by those alerted to the chemical changes that were taking place in nature.

ときおり、このような予言の正しかったことがわかりましたが、
Often, these prophecies proved correct.

しかしこの予言という方法で得た知識は正しいものと一般に認められていません。そして、天災を防いだり苦痛をやわらげたりすることのできる立場にある人々からは普通無視されています。
Yet, information obtained by this means is not generally accepted as authentic, and is usually ignored by those in a position to avert the disaster or alleviate the suffering.
