宇宙の意志に自分の意志をゆだねること

人間と自然のあいだの唯一の相違は、自然は自身の意志を持たないということです。というのは、前述のように、自然は”全包容的な英知”の意志のもとにあるからです。
The only difference between man and nature is ― nature has no will of its own, for as stated before, it is under the will of the All Inclusive Intelligence.

ところが最高の表現としての人間は自由意志的な心を与えられています。人間が苦悩を持つのは実にこの点にあるのです。
Man as the highest expression was endowed with a free will mind, and it is here that he has his trouble.

一つの結果としての心は、宇宙の意志に自分の意志をゆだねようとはしないで、他のいろいろな結果によって導かれようとします。
For the mind as an effect guides itself by other effects instead of lending its will to the will of the Cosmos.

人間が自由意志的な心を与えられた理由は、人間が生活の方法と目的とを”至上なる英知”から学びとるかもしれないという点にあります。
The reason that man was given a free will mind was that he might learn from The Supreme Intelligence the way and purpose of life.

人間には創造主のようになる可能性が与えられていて、イエスが言ったように「私と父とは一体である」のです。だからあなたが他人を見るときは”父”を見ているわけです。
And he is endowed with the potential of becoming like his creator and say as Jesus did, I and the Father are One, and when you look at me you see the Father.

金星人や他の惑星の人は自己の心を意識の指導にゆだねることによって、このことを日常表現しようと努力しています。
The Venusians and other planetarians endeavor to express this daily by willing their minds unto conscious guidance.

われわれも自己の目的を果たそうと思えばこのことを成さねばなりません。
And we must do this if we are to fulfill our purpose.
