個人としてのあなたは今生においてさえ多くの体験のなかの一構成単位です。
You as an individual are a unit of many experiences, even in this life.
個人のあなたは各変化が次々と以前の変化を吸収しながら無数の化学的変化を経てきました。
As an individual you have gone through billions of chemical changes with each absorbing the previous one.
それゆえあなたの宇宙的な本体すなわち個体性は永遠に分裂しません。
So the cosmic identity of you, the individual, has been constant with no divisions.
あなたの生命の連続した各段階は、あなたの誕生時から現在までの各段階が具体化したものでした。
Each succeeding stage of your life was the embodiment of previous stages from the time of your birth to the present day.
あなたが一肉体中にはらまれた日からこんにちまでのあらゆる脈搏は”宇宙の記録”の中に記録されています。
Every pulse of your being from the day of your conception on into a form have been recorded in the Cosmic Records.
いかなる脈搏や行為もその”記録”から除外されてはいません。
No pulse or act was left out.
あなたの肉体は今生において二〇年ないし九〇年の記録を保つでしょうが、それは永遠という流れの中では一秒の千分の一ほどの時間でもありません。
Your form may have a record of from 20 to 90 years in your present earthly life, but in eternity it is less than a thousandth part of a second.
ところがあなたはこの地上の時間の毎秒をかぞえています。一方、毎秒刻々と何かのフォーム（形あるもの）がたえず新生しているのです。
Yet you figure the seconds in the earthly time of age and every second some form of newness has taken place.
そして毎秒は、あなたを現在の時点にもたらしたこれまでのあらゆる瞬間を吸収しています。
And every second absorbing the previous second by the individual that brought you to this stage of life.
しかし心はこんなふうに考えたりはしません。
But the sense mind does not figure this way.
けれども心が意識と一体化すれば、それはこれまでの生活に起こった変化のすべてを再び見ることができるのです。
But when it does become one with the consciousness it will be able to review all of the changes that have taken place during its years of life.
しかも一瞬間たりといえども本人は自己の本体を分離させてはいません。
Yet not for one moment did the individual lose his identity.
しかし心または個性は、自分が何であるかということに気づかないために何度も迷っています。
But the sense mind or personality has been lost many times through its lack of awareness of what it is.
個性というものは一生涯において何度も変化しますが、そのことは異なる年齢時に撮影した自分の写真が現在の自分とは似ても似つかない場合があることでわかります。
The personality changes many times during a life time even to the degree that pictures taken at different ages show very little resemblance to the way one looks now.
だがそれでもなお本人の意識は元と同じままに存続しているのです。
While the individual consciousness remains the same.
個性たる心は通常「楽をしよう」という傾向を有していて、世の中の環境という型にはめられます。
The effect mind which is the personality, usually follows the law of least resistance and allows itself to be molded into the environment of the word's society.
だから人間は他人と同じ社会環境にあってさえもその他人を別人と感じるわけです。
This is why man feels strange to man, even though he is molded into the same type of society.
これはエゴすなわち心が宇宙の原理からまったく遊離しているためであって、それは個人の本体（意識）とエゴ間の分離によって起こるのです。
And it is because the ego or sense mind is a stranger to the Cosmic Principle and itself, caused through the divisions between individual identity and the ego.
本体は心にとって見えようが見えまいがあらゆる物をひとしく認めますが、心は具体的な形象化したものでなければ認めようとはしません。
The individual acknowledges everything in unison whether visible or invisible to the sense mind, while the sense mind acknowledges only that which it calls concrete form.
しかし疑惑が起これば心も具体的な現象の背後に何かがあることに気づきます。
Yet when questioned the mind admits that there is something behind the concrete manifestations.
しかし他人や社会が自分を笑いはしないだろうかと気にするあまり、心は疑惑の解明を続けようとはしません。
But it does not like to go on record that there is for fear of what a neighbor or society might think of him.
このことは個人の本体（意識）は心に警告しようとするのだけれども、心は社会の常識にそわないようになることを恐れるという事実を示しています。
This shows that the individual's identity tried to alert the mind but the mind fears not to go along with society's pattern.
真の意味における個人主義者はこの世にはほとんど存在しません。
There are very few people in the world that are individualists.
ときたまそんな人が現れても本人は社会にいれられず、また異端者とみなされて難儀な目にあいます。
And those who are of times have a hard time because they do not go along with society and are considered non-conformists.
この世界の偉大な人々は異端者であったことを歴史は示していますが、これはそうした人々が真の意味の個人主義的な人で、生まれながらに生命の深い意味を知っていたからです。
History shows that all great souls in this world were non-conformists for they were individual and endowed with the deeper meaning of life.
さて講座をすすめる前に、いわゆる物質世界はいわゆる精神的な不可視の生命界の”結果”であることを読者は思い出してください。
Before we proceed with the lesson promised I want everyone to recall that the so-called material world is an effect of the so-called spiritual or invisible side of life.
あなたが言葉で説明するかまたは他人の目に見えるような具体的な形にするまでは、ある概念は周囲の人々にとっては不可視なのですが、このことは万物にあてはまります。
Like an idea that is invisible to those around you until you explain it in words or create the idea into a form for them to see.
すなわち目に見える物には必ず不可視な支持者があるのです。
So it is with all that we know ― the invisible supporter of that which is visible.
ごく最近科学者は不可視の空間からある物質を取り出す方法を知りました。このため数年前よりもこんにちはもっと多くの元素が存在しています。
Just recently scientists have learned the process of how to draw upon invisible space for certain materials, as today there are more elements known than there were a few years back.
また費用がかさむためにいまは大規摸に生産できない貴金属が数種類あります
And there are now several precious metals that are too costly to produce on a large scale at this time.
が、その物質も不可視の空間から取り出されました。
But the substance for them was taken out of space, which is invisible.
これでもって不可視の世界から可視的な物が取り出され、再び不可視になるということがわかります。
This is a proof that out of the invisible comes the visible, and back to invisible.
この手順は無限に繰り返されてゆきます。
And over and over the process goes on.
このことは神秘的な霊術を用いないで宇宙空間を見たり旅したりしようという次に学ぶ方法（テレパシー、透視など）の土台となります。
This should give us support for our next step in viewing and traveling in the Cosmos without the mystical application.
これは実際には意識という生命の大海のなかにわれわれの心を拡張することによってそれが可能になるのです。
But with an extension of our sense mind into the conscious sea of life.
