神秘現象の真相はこれだ
あなたが体験するかもしれない各種の”感じ”によって迷ってはいけません。なぜなら、実は肉体や脳の中の無数の細胞はこれまでなすべき仕事がなかったのです。
Do not be mystified by the different feelings you may experience, for until now millions of cells in the body and brain have had nothing to do.
それらは冬眠していたのであって、利用されるのを待っていたのです。
They have been dormant, waiting to be used.
そこであなたの宇宙的真自我にたいして心が関心を持つならば、それは細胞に行動すべき好機を与えるのです。
Your mental interest in the cosmic self will give them an opportunity to act.
そして細胞群が行動を始めるにつれて、あなたは”感じ”の相違や、過去に持ったことのない意識的な警戒状態に気づくでしょう。
And as they go into action you will notice a difference of feeling, a conscious alertness that you did not have in the past.
あなたがある種の怠惰な脳細胞を働かせ始めるにつれて、頭の中にある奇妙な、かすかな脈動を感じることがあるかもしれません。
You may even feel a strange, faint pulsation in your head as you put some idle brain cells to work.
しかしまもなくその怠惰な細胞は他の細胞と融和して、しまいには脈動を感じなくなります。
But in a short time they will blend with others and you will not be aware of their activity.
これは余分な細胞を働かせる必要が生じた場合に起こるのです。
And this will occur from time to time as the need arises for extra cells to go to work.
これまで脳の細胞の半分以下しか働いていなかったのです。
For until now less than half of the cells of the brain have been active.
私が以上のように説明するのは、何か具合の悪い事が起こったとあなたが考えて助けを求めたりすることのないように仕向けるためです。
I speak of this that you may not think something is wrong and seek help.
それは、従来どおりの”結果”という半身（肉体）のみに頼らないで、完全なる人間を表現する方向に向かってあなたの心の活動を拡大することにほかなりません。
It is only an expansion of your sense mind activity towards the expression of a full man. Instead of only the effective half as before.
この活動によって体内に起こる一種の脈動現象を”頭の中の連打現象”と呼ぶ人もありますし、
Some people call this pulsation a knocking in the head.
トンツーのモールス符号に似ているという人もありますが、そのいずれでもありません。
Others say it is a code system like dots and dashes, but it is neither.
神秘主義者のなかには、これは死者または他の惑星または他の次元からのメッセージと考えている人もありますが、これは真相をよく知らず、各種の神秘的な力が実在するものと思っているためです。
In mystic fields this is considered as messages from the dead, or other planets or planes because they do not know what is taking place and give credit to mysterious forces.

When in reality the pulsation is caused by the expansion of the mind cells in a broader field of interest.

Many mystics have employed stimulants of various kinds to promote the knowledge of the unknown.
これは一時的なものであって、大抵の場合は幻覚か本人の欲求の反映にすぎません。
But this is temporary, and many times only a hallucination or a reflection of their desires.
これはもちろん不自然であって、個人にとって有益な知識をもたらすものではありません。
This of course is unnatural and does not lead to beneficial knowledge of oneself.
自然の法則を知り、それに従うことによってのみ、永続的な知識が得られるのです。
And only by knowing and following the natural laws can lasting knowledge be obtained.
だから知恵の言葉「自分自身を知れ。そうすればすべてがわかるだろう」が長い時代を通じて続いてきているのです。
That is why the words of wisdom, "man know thyself and you shall know all things," have come down through the ages.
その意味はそれが初めて語られた時代と同様にいまもなお真実です。
And are just as true today as when spoken.
われわれがこうした教訓を生かすならば、多くの人がやってきたように暗黒のなかでつまずくこともなく、意識によって指示される宇宙という図書館、すなわち知識の宝庫へ入れるわけです。
And if we live these lessons, instead of stumbling in the dark as so many have done, we can go direct to the library of the Cosmos, the house of knowledge, directed by consciousness.
論理的に考える人ならだれでも、各人の正当な継承物であるその知識の源泉へ直接に入ることの有利さに気づくはずです。
Any logical person can see the advantage of going directly to the source of knowledge, the rightful inheritance of each individual.
意識こそわれわれが生み出された宇宙の家であるからです。
For it is the cosmic household from whence we came.
他の惑星の兄弟たちは、この悟りにもっと早く到達することの重要性を示してくれました。
Our space brothers have shown us the importance of a more direct approach to this realization.
これを自分の生活の一部にするかどうかは各人にかかっています。
Now it is up to us to make this a part of our life.
自分の自我の実態を表現しようと努力しながら、以上のようにしてわれわれは多くの異なる形をして、多くの異なる段階の理解力をもって永遠に生き続けるのです。形ある物（人体）を通じてこそわれわれはたえず学び、前進します。
Endeavoring to express the real of our self and thus continue through eternity, in many different steps of understanding, in the many forms through which we will everlastingly learn or progress.
このことはわれわれが地上に家を建ててそのなかに住み、学んで、ついにはさらによき家を求めてそこを去って行くのと変わりはありません。
This is no different than when we build a home here and live and learn in it, only to eventually leave it for a still better home.
われわれが知識において進歩するにつれて、その知識に適した肉体が新生するにちがいありません。
As we progress in knowledge there must be forms to fit this knowledge.
ひとたびこのことを学ぶや死の苦痛は除かれるでしょう。
Once we learn this the sting of death will be removed.
そしてわれわれは常に聖なる父の子であり続けて、ついには父と同様になるのです。
And we will continue to always be the children of the Divine Father, until we become as he is.
ただ一つの意識があるのであって、これ以外の雑多なものがあるのではありません。
One consciousness ― not the many.
この意識がさまざまな目的を求めてさまざまな程度に現象化しながら各肉体を通じて宇宙のメロディーを完成するのです。
Manifesting in varing degrees for various purposes, completing the Cosmic Melody through each form.
