意識による旅行
Conscious Traveling

第９講では、意識によって宇宙空間のどこへでも旅行し、存在する物を知る方法を説明しようと約束しました。
In lesson Nine I told you that I was going to illustrate how one can travel consciously to any part of Cosmic Space and learn what is there.

これはいままでよく知られてきたいかなる心霊的な方法をも用いるのではなく、また心霊研究界で行なわれていると言われているような神秘的な指導霊に身をまかせたりするのでもありません。
And yet not employ any mysticism that is so well known in this world, or give oneself over to some mystical guide that we hear of people doing in the mystic circles.

自己の目的を果たすために他人をトリコにする権利を有している死者の霊魂や霊媒というものは存在しません。
No person dead or alive has a right to enslave you for his or her purpose.

あなたが持っている唯一の権利は、創造主すなわち神の似姿であるあなたの半身を認めることと、それとともに活動することにあります。
The only one you have a right to acknowledge and will yourself to work with is the other half of yourself which is the image and likeness of the Creator or God.

聖書には次のように述べてあります。「自分の前に偽りの神を持つな」と。
The Great Book states, "Have no false gods before Me.

なぜなら、似姿というのは宇宙の意識と同一物である純粋な意識そのものであるからです。
For the likeness and image is pure consciousness which is identical with the Cosmic One.

肉体と心を創造したのはその意識です。
It is the One that created the body and the sense mind.

ゆえに心は自己が創造された目的を遂行しようとするのなら、そして両親（意識）が持つように永遠の生命を持とうとするのなら、両親（意識）を見つけ出すように努力しなければなりません。
And the sense mind must make an effort to find its parent if it is going to fulfill the purpose for which it was created, or have life eternal as the parent does.

これが、人間が永遠の状態にある家に帰ってそれと一体化することのできる唯一の方法です。
For this is the only way that man can get back to the household of the eternal state and become one with it.

そうすれば人間はあらゆる生命体との一体化を感じ、いま持っているような”永遠なるもの”とのあいだの分離感はなくなるでしょう。
Then and then only will he feel unity with all life and not the separation that he does today. The feeling of distance between himself and that which is eternal will vanish.

これまでの各講であなたが学んだように、宇宙にはたえまのない化学的な変化が行なわれていて、ある段階の本体は次の段階の本体に吸収されます。
As you have already learned in previous lessons, there is a constant chemical change going on, and the identity of one stage is absorbed by the identity of the next stage.

それゆえ人間は自己の個人的な本体を永遠に保とうとするのなら、本人は起こっている諸変化にたえず自身を託さねばなりません。
So if one is to retain his individual identity through eternity he must lend himself constantly to the changes that are taking place.

個人的なエゴは宇宙の計画のなかで自己の占める場所を有していませんが、個々の本体は有しているからです。
For personal ego has no place in the cosmic plan but individual identity has.

個々の物が秩序ある宇宙を作りあげているのです。
For the individuals make up the cosmos.

それで個人的なエゴが自己をその個々の物によって吸収されるならば、それは一滴の水が海洋に吸収されるのと同様の状態になります。このことはときとして「己れを捨てて永遠の生命を得る」と言われています。
And by the personal ego allowing itself to be absorbed by the individual, which is sometimes refered to as saving oneself and earning eternal life, it becomes like the drop of water that allowed itself to be absorbed by the ocean of water.

それは海洋の水と一体化しますが、分子の構成において自己の個としての本体を保っています。
It becomes the ocean of water yet it retains its individual identity through its molecular structure.

はめ絵にたとえますと、個人と呼んでもよい各片はいまや他の物のあいだに置かれて、それが結局は絵を作りあげることになるのです。
Refering again to the jigsaw puzzle, the piece that could be called personal has now been placed among others that eventually will make the picture.

そのため本人は個人のときに感じていた分離感を起こさなくなって、絵全体の感じを持つようになりますが、一部分としての個体性は依然として残っています。
Thereby it loses its personal feeling of separation and takes on the feeling of the whole picture yet an individual part of it.
